The insulation and liner for sea containers developed and produced by Temax called “SEA-EYE” is used to insulate a standard sea container against cold and hot temperatures. This provides temperature protection for conditioned products such as water, wine, food or pharmaceuticals, or chemicals that are transported over sea or ocean with these sea containers.
The SEA-EYE insulation or liner for insulating sea containers is very easy to use. The Sea-eye liner can be easily and quickly hung from the suspension loops on the inside of the sea container. In this way the sea-eye can be assembled and disassembled in a few minutes and does not require any additional adjustments or requirements of the sea container. Any standard sea container can be used to apply the insulation or insulated liner.
The Temax insulation or liner for insulating sea-eye containers can be offered in different sizes and insulation qualities allowing any type of sea container 20DV 20HC 40DV 45HC to be insulated. The thickness of the insulation depends on the temperature that has to be guaranteed during sea freight. To find out which insulation thickness or insulation quality is applicable for your specific transport situation, a test is definitely recommended.
After use of the liner, or insulation for sea container, the liner can be easily and quickly dismantled again and can be reused at a next shipment, provided of course that the liner or the suspension system is not damaged.
Floor insulation
The liner or insulation for insulating sea containers, can be provided with or without floor insulation. If floor insulation is chosen, it is advisable not to drive a pallet truck or forklift over the insulation in order to avoid damaging or pressing the insulation. To avoid the risk of damage during loading, the Sea-eye floor insulation is delivered in separate panels that are placed one by one according to the loading of the sea container.
