The “Coolflex V” developed and produced by Temax is an insulated partition wall that is used to separate the temperature in a trailer, semi-trailer or truck so that two product groups such as cooled, frozen or groceries, each with a different temperature, can be transported together. Please note that the temperature is controlled by the cooling engine. The purpose of the separation wall is only to compartmentalize the truck space or semi-trailer, not to control the temperature.
The “Coolflex V” is built into the trailer via three cargo rods which are placed vertically at the ends using a rubber cap. At the top the partition wall has three reinforced PVC caps in which the cargo rods are placed to position the wall against the roof. The partition wall is provided with Velcro straps that are pulled around the cargo rods to tighten the wall. The dividing wall is also provided with integrated plastic plates at the top that press the entire wall against the roof to prevent sagging.
The “coolflex V” uses the air control of the cooling motor to seal the sides of the partition against the truck wall. On each side the Coolflex V is 10cm larger than the truck. These flaps are folded towards the cooling motor. If the cooling motor blows cold air, the wall expands against the truck wall creating a tight seal. At the top plastic plates are built in to have a good connection with the roof of the truck.
The “Coolflex V” can also easily be used as a door. The partition wall is constructed from flexible materials and three vertical rods. This creates a pivot point in the middle of the wall which allows the two halves to function as doors. In order to unload the goods the wall does not have to be removed completely, which also minimizes the flow of hot air into the cold compartment of the trailer.
